Macbook Pro Crisis Update
Feb. 1st, 2011 04:30 pmPraise the Macbook Gods! My dad informed me 20 minutes ago that the nice people at Apple are gonna fix my Macbook for free. That's right folks, what would cost 349 bucks is gonna be at the low price of free!
I'll it back in 5-7 days, but they don't know if my files can be saved. They told my dad that it depends on the damage. If it's too extensive, my Mac will have to be wiped. But now I'm hoping they'll be able to save my files.
If not, then I jus start my stories where I left off (since I found the ones that I didn't have backed up in my email). So that means I'll have to start typing up my Buffy fics where I stopped: that would be Chapter 7 (which I hadn't even started) of Family Portrait and Chapter 2 (which I was almost done with, but this gives me a chance to rewrite it) of A Twist in My Story.
I don't think there are words to express how happy I am that my Mac can be fixed.
